Going Green

In our continuing effort to become a more sustainable business we have recently signed up four Wee Book Inn locations to be Bullfrog Powered. Please visit our various Locations to see if your favourite store is cleanly powered!

While Bullfrog Power does not directly supply their clean energy to our locations, all of the energy used at these locations is being offset with carbon-free energy that is put back into the electrical grid. This decreases the grid demand for traditional fossil fuel based energy, and helps create the infrastructure needed in Alberta to decrease our dependence on carbon energy sources.

We hope to raise awareness of the clean energy alternatives available to Albertans. Our wish is for the Alberta electrical grid to eventually become decentralized and locally sustained with renewable energy.
