You can trade any items including books, CDs, and DVDs.  

Type for type restrictions apply to publication type (i.e. paperbacks for paperbacks) as well as genre type (i.e. sci-fi for sci-fi).

For trades outside of the type for type restriction we will credit the value of your item, according to our purchasing guidelines, towards the item you are purchasing.

The value of our trading system can be illustrated with the following example:  

Start with 16 books,
trade for 8  then for 4,
then for 2  then for 1 more

That makes 31 books that you've read for the price of 16, and remember that we sell our books for half of retail price!
