In order to serve you better as a company we employ a variety of standardized policies concerning the Buy Sell Trade nature of our business.

Many people are unaware of the various aspects of the Buy Sell Trade model, and outlining them here will help to make your experience with us more comfortable and fulfilling.

Buy

We pay cash on the spot for quality secondhand books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS cassettes.

The best way to find our how much your books are worth is to bring them in to us for a quote anytime we're open. If you accept the quote, we pay you cash on the spot. If you don't like our offer, you can keep your books and shop around for a better price. You can always come back for our original offer.

By law, we require two items from list A, or one from A and one from B, or three from B.

Sell

We sell the majority of our books for 1/2 the publisher's suggested Canadian retail price.

DVDs and CDs sell for $5.95, or $9.95 for premium titles.

You can mix and match 3 for $15.00, or 3 premium titles for $25.00.

We sell VHS cassettes for $3.95, and all our movies and music have a 1 week guarantee to work or you get a full refund (with original receipt).

Trade

We trade 2 of yours for 1 of ours, type for type and subject to physical condition standards of acceptance.

The trade value of your books is typically much higher than the cash value.

Special Exceptions

Certain paperback titles are so popular that we simply have too many of them! The list of these titles changes constantly as stock flows in and out of the company, but we do not purchase these titles while we have an excess of them.

We do accept these excess titles on trade if and only if they already have a current Wee Book Inn stamp inside the front cover and meet condition standards.

Requests

The Wee Book Inn features a free search service whereby we engage all our locations in finding the title you are seeking for as long as three months.

We do require that you leave a name, and a telephone number for this service, but we do not sell this information or give it away to anyone. When your request is filled, your information is deleted from our records. We currently only accept requests from in-store.
